Lily of the Valley

Posted on May 9, 2014

The Lily of the Valley are coming up in my front yard. This flower means so much to me since it was the favorite of my Grandmother. It is the national flower of Finland where she was born and migrated from at 19 years of age. On her wedding day she holds a large bouquet in her arms. The smell of this flower I seek each spring when it blooms. When they start blooming I know spring has officially arrived.
